WEDDINGS AT HUS

Your wedding day is special, therefore we only offer a limited amount of weddings each year, to make sure we can provide you with the best possible service and a unique experience. HUs is the perfect venue to create your dream wedding. You can choose from our professional suppliers list to create your bespoke decorations and select the best caterers. Already sourced your own wedding planning? Want to DIY everything? Our lovely team will help you every step of the way, to make your wishes come true.

HUs Art Farm is a unique countryside Wedding Venue with accommodation, located just 30 minutes from Auckland’s CBD.

Pick from our preferred supplier list or source your own wedding suppliers.
Check in the day before to get ready on-site without worrying about getting to the venue on time.
Get married in the 10m by 12m gallery or on the 6×6 metre pond dock.
Plenty of photo opportunities in and around the farm, from quaint bridges, lily-ponds, native forest and lush bush backdrops.
Use the extensive lawns to entertain your guests with games.
Enjoy a formal dinner in the large gallery or hold a relaxed picnic on the lawns or dock.
Explore one of the many beautiful vineyards, west coast beaches and Riverhead forest.
On site parking for 45 cars.

CEREMONY

Hold your ceremony on the purpose-built 6 x 6-meter dock that sits right on the water. The dock is equipped with a decoration arch and offers a scenic forest backdrop. A beautiful spot to say your vows. A portable speaker is available for the ceremony and we can arrange seating upon request.

GALLERY

The purpose built gallery space is approximately 10 x 12 meters. It’s all-white interior makes it the perfect blank canvas for an event planner. We can accommodate up to 85 guests.
There are 2 lighting options. Dimmable continuous LED strips on the ceiling and/or bright white tube lighting which is not dimmable.
Acoustic ceiling panels and white acoustic curtains deaden the sound for quiet conversation.
Large air conditioning unit for winter and summer activity.
In house speaker and amp system.
Full height white sheers that are continuous around 3 walls.

PHOTOGRAPHY

HUs offers many unique spaces for photography. The inside provides modern interior design in the upstairs area, while the downstairs gallery provides a blank canvas that can be decorated to your needs. The farm is surrounded by lush, native bush, quaint bridges, a purpose build bush-path, lily-ponds, and a dock.

BAR

The Bar is situated in the downstairs area and connects to the Gallery and offers plenty of storage space, a bar and wine fridge, as well as a and wash-up station. Stable doors open up to a covered outdoor seating area which provides fantastic indoor-outdoor flow for your guests.

ACCOMMODATION

The accomodation offers 6 bedrooms with 4 en-suites. A large modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to entertain your guests. The open plan lounge opens up onto a covered deck for perfect indoor-outdoor flow.

PARKING

An all season carpark is located in the bottom paddock below the venue. It can accomodate approximately 45 cars. The top carpark is for pick up and drop off only. There is to be no car parking on the street.
